God Of War: Ragnarok Teaser Thoughts

My goodness I don’t even know how to begin expressing my excitement for this. I have been surfing through Youtube recently trying to catch up with all the things that are going on in the gaming universe and I somehow did not get a chance to see the teaser trailer for the next God Of War game until today. Holy cow! I am above and beyond hyped for this game and even though nothing was shown other than a logo and 2 lines of dialogue from Kratos, I know this next game is going to be incredible. Santa Monica Studio are masters of game design and storytelling and I cannot wait to see what they show next.

A few of you already know God Of War is my favorite game of all time and the last one was such an amazing chapter in an already incredible story. After seeing this 1 minute teaser my mind started running wild with questions and ideas. How much time has passed? Has both Kratos and Atreus been on the run this whole time? What is their new plan to survive? Are they going to have to face and kill more Nordic gods? Where do they go from here and what new relationships will they form? My brain has been jumping every where after the news.

Since the game is called Ragnarok we can already expect the end of the world. I’m also expecting many other Nordic gods to join Thor against Kratos and hoping some new ones will aid him and Atreus as well. The last game was pretty self contained and did not reveal too many Norse gods. This time around I am hoping the game adds to the cast of characters and they bring a lot more drama and chaotic battles to the game. I am excited to see more wrath from Thor specifically and perhaps if we are lucky Kratos can get an audience with Odin at some point. I am so hyped up for the possibilities of where the story can go. If you guys are as excited as I am for this game please let me know and maybe we can start some dialogue about it and what are some things you guys are expecting to see as well.
