Happy New Year Gamers! I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year in 2023. Last year while still a better year that the previous two before it, still held many challenges and struggles but things are definitely better than they were. On the gaming side of things, we had a lot of very strong titles that were fun and enjoyable and I’m hoping this year will only continue to get better. I am hoping for more new ideas, new story concepts, and more engaging characters. At some point, gaming started to feel lost and repetitive as though all the ideas were out so everything started to get remade with new graphics, and while it is awesome to replay games like the Resident Evil series, there is still something stale about replaying the same games over again.

This year we are still expecting some of this same trend with games like Resident Evil 4 remake and Dead Space. These games were trend setters when they first launched and now they are re-releasing this year with updated visuals and it feels almost like these developers don’t want to let go of the past. While I will still try them out, I will not be buying these games on launch day or anything, since I’ve already played and beaten them both a few times in the past. Moving forward though I am excited to play new games like Forespoken, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Exoprimal, Street Fighter 6, Atomic Heart, and The Day Before.

Finally, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not been able to do any writing in a long time, especially because of work and personal stuff during all the holidays. Now that there is a little bit more free time, I will be posting about all the cool experiences I had with some of the biggest games of 2022. There were a lot of titles I got to play, and I wanted to break them all down and share with you my favorite parts and what really stood out the most. As always, thank you so much for your support and taking your time to read this post, I will be posting more gaming content here soon. Cheers to the new year!
